With a diploma in graphic design, a diploma in fine art and an MA in illustration, I have explored many spheres of creative practice. Over nearly 30 years as an in‑house and freelance designer and illustrator for agencies, publishing houses and international organisations in Hamburg, London, Paris, Amsterdam and Geneva I’ve had plenty of opportunity to apply this knowledge in real‑world contexts and work with global brands.
Alongside my career, I have always nurtured a personal artistic practice that spans drawing, painting, printmaking, experimental photography, sculpture, and the design of home objects and interiors.
While I am passionate about creating, I am equally fascinated by the human connections that emerge through the creative process. Much of my current practice centers on these interactions and aligns closely with the principles of relational art. This focus inspired me to establish the community art space Espace Enchanté and continues to shape the workshops and courses I offer at my illustration studio, Illuminarium, and beyond.
